The River House is situated on a scenic, serene

property approximately 5 minutes off the Garden State Parkway.  Located in Manahawkin, NJ, only 15 minutes from the beach and Long Beach Island. A great getaway location to enjoy any time of the year!

 

The River House offers non-hosted weekend getaways  for up to 10  guests. Reserve  our 5 bedroom/3.5  bath house for scrapbooking, quilting, crafting or any other fun group  gathering. 

 

Craft area:

• on street level - roll your supplies right into the room 

• excellent overhead lighting

• ten  5-foot tables with comfy chairs and cup/waste bag caddy 

• Refreshment nook with Keurig 

• 1/2 Bath/powder room

• Craft supply "store" (honor system)

 

The house is fully-furnished and has a full-sized  kitchen  stocked with dishes, cookware, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, crockpot  and toaster. 

Everything you need to make your weekend comfortable and productive is included, except for your meals and drinks. 

 

Many nearby stores and restaurants include:

Costco, BJ's, ShopRite, Target, Best Buy, Michael's, Staples, Wawa, CVS  etc. Olive Garden, Friday's, IHOP, Hibachi, Chinese etc. 

Also plenty of local restaurants for delivery.

 

Beds will be made and waiting for you, complete with fresh linens, pillows, and blankets. Towels will be provided for each guest. 

 

Give yourself the gift of time for yourself and for fun with friends and family. Come to the river to craft and relax. Not a crafty  group? Come to unwind, sightsee, play cards, read, watch movies, chat and laugh. Tables can be used for study groups, work, or moved out of the way for exercise, yoga or massages.
